On a Thursday evening at 6.45pm we phoned the George and Dragon to see if they could cope with a party of eleven people at 7.15pm. They said they could and we arrived. Being a mixture of adults and teenagers the variation of required dishes was quite wide. The staff were very friendly and rearranged the dining area to seat us all together. We ordered our food and the waiter went round and repeated each order to ensure he had got it correct. The order ranged from chicken strips to curries and after a 40 minute wait, which one would expect for a group of our size all the food came out together and was clearly freshly made. The only meal that didn’t was my Veg Manchurian which arrived about 15 minutes later but was delicious. I would highly recommend this pub for its varied menu and the staffs ability to cope under pressure in a friendly and polite manner. Everyone was completely satisfied with their meal which, to me, seems to be a rarity these days. Well done all at G&D, we shall return.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Arrived in a broken down Motorhome, landlord let us park behind the pub for 2 nights. Very accommodating, very friendly. Great choice of veggie options on the menu and great quality. Toilets are definitely ready for a overhaul.
